On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) and the Governing Board (GB), I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all of you, who participate in CAV2021, for your strong support and active contribution.
As we all feel sorry, CAV2021 was held in a virtual format first time in the history of the CAV symposium, due to the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. However, thanks to the quick decision made by the LOC and GB, the switch from the offline to the online event was successfully carried out.
In response to the Call for Abstracts announcement, 214 abstracts were submitted. Out of them, 160 papers from 22 countries were presented on 14 different topics.
300 researchers and scholars from 25 countries registered for CAV2021.
One important message that I have to deliver today is that the online platform used for CAV2021 will be up and running for three more years until May 2024. The keynote speeches are released in a recorded format, thanks to the speakers’ approval.
In addition, if the authors would like to submit and publish their papers in an internationally renowned journal, please submit them to the International Journal of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (IJNAOE). IJNAOE (ijnaoe.org) is a Q1 journal in the category of Marine Engineering according to the Clarivate’s Journal Citation Reports. The submitted papers will be reviewed thoroughly before publication.
Thank you again and I look forward to seeing you all in CAV2024 in Greece.
With best regards,
